The Missouri Valley Conference Women’s Basketball Tournament (bracket) started yesterday at the Knapp Center in Des Moines. There’s plenty of action between now and the championship game on Sunday.
Yesterday Drake won the match against Wichita State.
#8 Drake upset #1 Southern Illinois this afternoon. (I’ve been following Drake basketball for years, so you’ll definitely find me rooting for them.)
Update: Yeah! Drake beat #4 Evansville Sat. afternoon. The championship game features #8 Drake against #6 UNI. It’s been a great week of basketball!
