Sandbagging volunteers needed in Des Moines

There is still a need for volunteers to help sandbag in and around Des Moines.
If you are going to do that read the instructions right now.
It will save you time if you register on-line. You must have had a tetanus shot within the last 10 years. If you need one, you can get one free at 1907 Carpenter, but you will have to get the shot before reporting to the Volunteer Reception Center at 1111 9th Street (between University Avenue and I-235 just 2 blocks west of Mercy Hospital).
