Winter Storm Hard on Trees

Midwest Snowstorm

We’re still in the middle of a snowstorm in the Midwest. First we had a lot of rain turning to sleet and ice, and finally snow.

It’s taking a toll on the trees. This is a view out my back window. Some of these branches that are bending have already broken.

Luckily we still have power. Many in the state do not. We only got about five inches of snow here.

The neighbor got out his snowblower and just finished with four driveways! Nice. Saves us a lot of work. People are like that here. Friendly and helpful.

Here’s links to weather information and news around the Midwest.

We haven’t had snow like that in years here in Chattanooga. But when I lived in upstate NY we had a lot of winters like that.

Hi Alli,
Thanks for stopping by. We have had a pretty mild winter here. The best thing about it is spring is not too far off! I feel bad about all the trees though.
